Motherlodge 2011 Fundraiser at Joe’s Pub NYC – Monday, January 17th

December 23rd, 2010

On January 17th, 2011 Motherlodge will hold its first ever fundraiser at the historic Joe’s Pub in Manhattan. The evening will kick off Motherlodge’s 2011 Online Auction to raise money for the touring presenting organization’s 2011 program, which will take place in New York City, Louisville, and points in between. Since 2009 Motherlodge has featured writers, creators and performers from the worlds of theater, music, culinary and visual arts, placing an emphasis on collaborations that enrich the communities where Motherlodges occur. The Joes Pub show will feature artists who have participated in Motherlodges, and the event will be streamed live over the internet at motherlodge.com through Motherlodge’s partnership with livestream.com.

Scheduled to appear are David Amram, Michael Arthur, Tom Burnett, Michael Cerveris, Tyrone Cotton, Doveman, Alanna Fugate, Josh Kaufman, Lady Rizo, Scott Mertz, Erin Lennox, Little Silver, Lucas Papaelias, Penny Arcade, Adam Rapp, Dred Scott, Michael Shannon, Chef Timothy Tucker, and Ron Whitehead.

The online auction will continue after the 17th at motherlodge.com,
featuring donated items from the live arts communities of both New York City and Louisville, KY.
